Using Filezilla and FTP with WebMate

Quick Overview...

Use your FTP details to publish your website and access your WebMate web space.

To publish to, or to view the files on your WebMate web space you will need a program called FileZilla ( It’s Free! ) and you will need your FTP details supplied in the WebMate Welcome Email. You can also use FileZilla to connect to your WebMate Drive.

Detailed Instructions...

Connecting to your WebMate Account

Open up the FileZilla application and enter the following FTP details:

Host: yourdomain.com
Username: yourdomain.com
Password:
Your FTP Password.
Port: 21

Click Quickconnect.


FileZilla will connect to the Server and you will see your site files in your WebMate Account.

From here you can download files by dragging and dropping to your desktop or to a specified folder. You can also upload your files in the same way.

That's it! You have now successfully connected to your WebMate Account via FileZilla

 
Connecting to your WebMate Drive

Open up the FileZilla application and enter the following FTP details:

Host: drive.webmate.me
Username: Your WebMate Username.
Password:
Your WebMate Password.
Port: 21

Click Quickconnect.


FileZilla will connect to the Server and you will see your files in your WebMate Drive.

From here you can download files by dragging and dropping to your desktop or to a specified folder. You can also upload your files in the same way.

That's it! You have now successfully connected to your WebMate Drive via FileZilla
